1. General Information

Our company (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website. This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through our website. We sell home furnishings and small furniture and transact in Euros (EUR). Our primary market is Europe, but we accept orders from customers worldwide.

2. Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays). Orders placed after 2:00 PM Central European Time (CET) will be processed the next business day. During peak seasons (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas), processing may take up to 5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.

3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates

We partner with multiple carriers including DHL, UPS, FedEx, and local postal services depending on your region. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, not the order date. Estimates do not include processing time.

European Union (primary market)

Standard Shipping (3-7 business days): €5.90, free for orders over €59

Express Shipping (1-3 business days): €12.90

United Kingdom

Standard Shipping (5-9 business days): €8.90, free for orders over €79

Express Shipping (2-4 business days): €15.90

Switzerland & Norway

Standard Shipping (6-10 business days): €9.90, free for orders over €89

Express Shipping (3-5 business days): €19.90

United States & Canada

Standard Shipping (7-12 business days): €14.90

Express Shipping (3-6 business days): €24.90

Rest of World

Standard Shipping (10-20 business days): €19.90

Express Shipping (5-10 business days): €34.90

Please note that delivery to remote or rural addresses may take additional time. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, weather, or carrier issues beyond our control.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your selected shipping method, delivery address, and the total weight/dimensions of your order. Free shipping thresholds are listed above. All shipping costs are displayed in Euros and include VAT where applicable for EU shipments. For non-EU orders, local taxes or customs fees may apply (see Section 6).

5. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to the carrier‘s tracking portal. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update. If you do not receive tracking information within 5 business days after your order confirmation, please contact us at buy@homefurnit.com.

6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

EU Customers: For shipments within the European Union, all applicable VAT and duties are included in the final price at checkout. No additional customs fees will be charged upon delivery.

Non-EU Customers (including UK, Switzerland, Norway, US, Canada, and others): We are not responsible for any customs fees, import duties, taxes, or brokerage charges that may be imposed by your local customs authority. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local customs office for an estimate of these fees before placing an order. We are required by law to declare the full value of the merchandise on the customs form.

7. Shipping Restrictions

We currently do not ship to the following countries or regions due to logistical or legal restrictions: Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Crimea region of Ukraine, and any other country subject to EU or US trade sanctions. For other destinations, please contact us before ordering to confirm availability. We do not ship to P.O. boxes for large furniture items; a physical street address is required for all orders containing items larger than 100 cm in any dimension.

8. Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged product and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund according to our Return Policy. If your shipment is lost in transit, we will work with the carrier to locate it. If not located within 15 business days, we will issue a full refund or send a replacement at no cost. We are not liable for delays caused by strikes, natural disasters, pandemic-related disruptions, or other force majeure events.

9. Incorrect Shipping Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If you realize you provided an incorrect address after placing your order, please contact us immediately at buy@homefurnit.com. If the order has not yet shipped, we will update the address free of charge. If the order has already shipped, you may be responsible for additional shipping fees, return-to-sender fees, or re-delivery fees. We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by you.

10. Partial Shipments

If your order contains multiple items, we may split it into several shipments to ensure faster delivery. You will receive separate tracking information for each shipment. There is no additional charge for partial shipments.
